Why I love Japan
Hey there, this is GKR.
If you follow me in social media, you will know that most of my posts are based on anime/manga. It is because right after watching an anime known as Naruto I started to admire Japan. I am an otaku but there is also a term for this called Japanophile. It's basically referred to as unconditional love for the country of Japan.
I do love Japan, not as much as my own country, but somewhere more than in other foreign countries. To me, India and Japan are similar in various ways. Precisely, South Indian culture coincides a lot with both Japanese and South Korean cultures.
Let's go off the topic for a moment. I am the kind of guy who wants to work hard, earn more, achieve big and at the same time have fun and enjoy my life. I know that most of you can relate to me because it is essential in life to enjoy and be happy rather than worked and stressed out. Is there a solution to attain this work-life balance?
Yes, there is.
In Japan, there is a term known as Ikigai. Read my blog about Ikigai here.
If you follow your Ikigai, you can eventually attain peace in life as well as work hard without worrying about stress and wealth. This is the number one reason for higher life expectancy in Japan.
In a way, I have a connection with most of the Japanese way of living other than their food habits because I am a vegetarian.
Here are the top five reasons why I love Japan.
Japanese people follow minimalism to a great extent. It might not be everyone who follows it but at the least, compared to people in the USA, Japanese don't opt for unnecessary needs. Minimalism is good for everyone. It keeps you satisfied, happy and less envious. It is also a life-saving thing if you are from a poor family. I recommend you follow minimalism or at the least try to be a minimalist. I will write more blogs about minimalism in the future.
Fun fact: There is a place called Akihabara in Japan which is like the dream place for all otaku like me. It's full of anime and manga events, stores, merchandise shops and a lot more fun.
That's it. Comment your most favourite country below.

1) Minimalism
2) Innovation
Japanese people are known for their innovative world-changing ideas. I cannot remember a day in my life not talking about robots and not playing my Sony's Playstation games. More than this, the Japanese have highly innovative art which is both creative craftsmanship and intelligent innovation. In spite of being minimalists, they tend not to get satisfied with all the inventions they have made.3) Hard workers
A cliche isn't it? We all know that Japan is a hard-working nation. No other country could have survived the way Japan was destroyed in the second world war. My favourite manga artists work twenty hours every day for several years to create their masterpiece works. I did try my best to work as hard as possible but my lifetime best on working hard is for ten hours a day for just about a month or so when I wrote my book series called Team Deteqto. Japanese people are also very punctual and follow several rules and morals that they never break throughout their life. It is rare to see a Japanese guy or girl unfollow their tradition, even in cities like Tokyo.4) Health
Japanese people are health conscious. It might be confusing though as we see them eating only ramen noodles throughout their lives. It's all only in the cinema though. Their real diet consists of light weighted food, vegetables and mostly seafood. Rice is essential in their diet but they don't consume anything in high quantity. If you see any restaurant in Japan, they serve food in small utensils just to make sure nobody overeats.5) Anime/manga
Japan is mostly known for its anime/manga that is famous all over the world. As I said earlier, I started to admire Japan only after watching an anime called Naruto. Japanese stories and folk tales are all interesting. The way they narrate the stories, the way they visually portray the stories are always fun to watch and consume.Fun fact: There is a place called Akihabara in Japan which is like the dream place for all otaku like me.
