Inspiration series Blog #3 Tim Cook
Hey there, this is GKR.
Tim Cook is one of the best CEOs of all time. I like Steve Jobs. I like him for his innovation. But on the contrary, I like Tim Cook more. It is because Tim has his ethics for how a business should run and how the world should be.
Let me give you an example.
He announced that he was gay despite being one of the most famous CEO of the most renowned company in the country. When some journalists asked about the announcement, he replied that he did that to inspire all the lonely people out there who think their life is ruined because of being gay. This is one of the most inspirational things that I have ever heard.
Tim was ready to lose anything just to make sure there was no racism among the workers in Apple. He hired black people for higher positions in Apple. Moreover, he also got rid of the myth that female employees cannot work in higher positions in the company. He even made one of his female employees give a keynote speech, which Steve Jobs would never have even considered to do so.
Tim also made Apple the first trillion-dollar company. Not only that, but Apple is also the most eco-friendly company in the world. Being a loner, Tim Cook has achieved more than any CEO could have even imagined.
Tim Cook is also a fitness enthusiast. Being 60 years old now, he is still fit and easily has the positivity to work harder for a few more decades.
